Bridal sessions are one of my favorite ways to create space for portraits without the time constraints of a wedding day. Many brides choose to schedule them alongside their hair and makeup trial, allowing us the freedom to explore multiple locations and work in the best possible light without the pace and pressure of a wedding timeline, Here are some of my personal favorite Bridal Sessions in some of Nashville's most iconic venues.

The Bridal Portrait

CheekwooD Nashville Bridal Session

This bridal portrait session at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens felt truly ethereal, with portraits created throughout the wisteria arbor, reflection pool, and color garden during some of the most beautiful light of the season. Mary chose Old Edward's Inn for her wedding venue, but wanted to do a session in Nashville after her hair and makeup trial with Margaret Snider.  Dress: Reem Acra

This fall bridal session at Scarritt-Bennett Center showcased exactly why it remains one of my favorite locations for portraits in Nashville. The light at Scarritt-Bennett is beautiful in every season, both inside and out, which makes it one of the few places where I never worry much about weather when planning a session. The result was a collection of timeless bridal portraits filled with warmth, texture, and the kind of light I’m endlessly inspired by.
