Cheekwood Estate & Gardens is more than one of Nashville’s most beautiful landmarks—it’s a place woven into the history, culture, and memories of our city. For the past 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings, proposals, engagements, and countless milestones throughout its gardens. I’ve watched couples promise forever beneath the Wisteria Arbor, families celebrate life’s biggest moments, and generations gather in one of Nashville’s most treasured spaces. As both a former Nashville resident and a photographer, Cheekwood has been an immeasurable part of my own story.
Today, Cheekwood faces challenges from neighboring property owners over zoning and parking that threaten its ability to continue serving our community as it has for decades. Whether you’ve celebrated a special occasion there, wandered the gardens on a spring afternoon, attended one of its seasonal events, or simply believe places like Cheekwood deserve to be preserved, your voice matters.
Please consider signing the petition to help protect this Nashville institution for future generations. Below are just a small handful of the memories I’ve been honored to document at Cheekwood over the past 15 years—and I hope there will be many more to come.
