Savannah Engagement Photographer : Jen + Dave

I don’t even know where to begin.  This is one of 3 (epic) blog posts from Jen + Dave’s destination wedding in Savannah.  I didn’t even really edit myself with any of this, because I just can’t get enough of these two.  This post documents my first real meeting and interaction with them, starting with their marriage license application.  At first this was a somewhat challenging thing to photograph, but enter Evelyn.  She began to tell us wild stories about the people who come in to apply for marriage licenses.  It was absolutely hysterical.  She had us all in tears.  What was most profound was that I felt like the Lord was giving me a glimpse into what he has in store for them both, even in the mundane day-to-day.  Filling out forms.  Joy.  Laughter.  Fun.  Abundance.

Every once in a while, Dave would turn and give me a “blue steel” face.  I had to be ready at all times.
